Congratulations on being offered a course within the Faculty of Law.
The following information has been prepared to assist new postgraduate coursework students with the enrolment process and to provide other relevant links.
How to enrol
The Law Faculty handbook contains information on unit content, course structure, fees and other relevant information. In particular, the Handbook includes the overall requirements that students who commence a course in a given academic year must normally satisfy before they are eligible to be awarded that qualification. The handbook can be found here:
Timetable information for all postgraduate law programs and units.
Students enrolled in a postgraduate law course will also be able to use the Monash University Timetable System (MUTTS) and Allocate+ to view unit schedules as well as view and create personal timetables.
MUTTS is the online timetable system that allows students to view timetables for all units offered by Monash, as well as plan and create personal timetables.
Allocate+ is the online allocation system that allows students to select preferred timeslots for units that have more than one stream (i.e. JD compulsory units), change streams, identify unit clashes as well as view their confirmed class timetable.
Note: Students will not normally be required to use Allocate+ to select preferred streams for a Masters, Graduate Diploma or a Graduate Certificate unit as these postgraduate units usually only have one stream. Students will be automatically allocated to a unit at the time of enrolment. JD students are required to use Allocate+ tp select preferred streams for the compulsory units of the program.
MUTTS and Allocate+ can be accessed via the Web Enrolment System (WES)
WES is the web based enrolment system that will enable students to manage their enrolment and perform a range of other administrative and academic activities such as:
WES is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, however there are some close down periods and students should check the WES homepage for information on these dates.
If you are having problems with your password or logging into WES, please contact the ITS Service Desk
Follow the steps 1 to 6 to enrol in your chosen units.
Note: For enrolment purposes, postgraduate coursework students will need to follow the enrolment instructions for ‘Non-VCAT direct entry student’.
